Do you ever feel like you require a break from city's bustle and noise? Let me guide you on a short trip to a place that I love a lot the most - Redwood Park in Surrey.
Once Upon a Time...
Imagine Two brothers David as well as Peter Brown living in Surrey some time in the past. They had this crazy concept of planting trees all over the world to their backyard. Now, fast forward to the present day and we've got Redwood Park, named after the massive redwood trees they grew. It's like stepping into a live storybook!
Wander and Wonder
If you're an experienced hiker or simply one who loves walking there's a trail to the name of your choice. Enjoy the crunch of leaves beneath your feet and hear the birds and then just... let your breath in. If you're lucky, you may even see an animal or two!
Family, Fun, and Fairy Tales
Got kids? They'll enjoy the themed playground with a treehouse. It's like something straight from of a fairytale. And if you're need for an outdoor picnic There are plenty of places for you to spread your blanket and enjoy lunch and sun.
Learning Can Be Fun!
Every once in a while, the park will host these fun sessions. You will learn about the birds, trees and even learn how to preserve our natural environment. This isn't just for kids I've attended some and I can tell you that they're a blast!
What Chirag Warty Thinks
The local, Chirag Warty has shared "Excellent space for a quality family time. The park is meant for people from all walks of life and all age groups. There is ample amount of parking and lots of space one can rest."
Before You Go
A heads-up If it's been raining often, certain trails could be closed. Don't let it stop you from exploring. There's always something interesting to learn about.
If you're looking for a space where stories are told and you're able to relax or have a good time and maybe learn something, Redwood Park is the location to be. Take your best sneakers, and I'll be there!
